Seeing Santa From a Baby’s Point of View

Does your mommy start decorating the house out of nowhere? Well my mommy does. When my mommy finished putting up a tree with a bunch of things on it and putting this shiny silver stuff around it, she picked me up and put me in the car. Where are we going? Are we going to the place where people look at me and say, “Oh, what a cute baby.” My mommy is quiet, so then they start talking about when they had kids. Ugh, we’re at that place. I think it’s called a store, but I don’t know. Mommy brings me up to this strange man dressed in red with white hair. He starts talking to me.

“Ho, ho, ho! Why hello there little one. I’m Santa. I bring you all of your toys.” The man said. So all of my toys are from a stranger? I started kicking and screaming so much that Santa had to take me off of his lap. I was still crying.

“Please take the picture, since the line is really long.” After the picture Santa said,

“Bye little Spencer.” How does he know my name? Before my mommy could get me, I got off the chair and climbed under it.

“Come on Spencer, it’s time to go bye bye.” Mommy said as she tried to grab me. I crawled farther back. I was shaking. I could see other kids crying too. Santa tried to pick me up, but I bit him. My mommy got so angry that she grabbed me and ran out of the mall. I later learned that biting Santa wasn’t nice. I refused to get any toys for a long time because Santa scared me so much. I also learned that Santa was a good guy even though he looks scary. I guess you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.

An Image of Saudi Arabia

The picture of Saudi Arabia that I found was taken in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In the photo it seems to be evening or night time because the sky is dark and all of the buildings are lit up. Based on the picture it looks like most buildings in Riyadh are constructed differently than buildings we see in the United States. The buildings also look different. If I was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia I would probably feel tired at first. I would feel tired because the flight there would probably be long and I don’t like flying for long periods of time. I do feel like I would enjoy it though, because it seems really pretty when all of the buildings are lit up. I would love experiencing the different culture of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia seems kind of big, so if it was just my dad and I we would easily get lost considering the fact that we couldn’t even find our way around the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas. Overall I think Saudi Arabia seems like a beautiful place and I certainly wouldn’t mind visiting there.
